About HockeyShare
HockeyShare.com is committed to bringing you a free community based on the ability to freely exchange your hockey knowledge with other users. Our vision is to create an open community that will help coaches, players, managers and fans find information, share ideas, get the latest breaking news and freely interact with one another. Here are some of the questions I frequently get asked…hopefully this will shed some light on why I created the site, and what my intentions are with it.
Why I started this website
Throughout the seasons, I've noticed that many players really enjoy being able to track their progress – goals, assists, points, plus/minus, etc. I was always annoyed that the 'good' options were membership based. It seemed to me that there should be a tool available that would allow people to easily track their team's scores and stats…for free! Since I have been building and designing websites for several years, I decided it was time to put my money (coding) where my mouth was. Once I got started, I thought it would be fun to keep building and adding features. This website is definitely a work in progress.
Are you going to move this to a subscription-based service?
Nope. My intention is to keep this site absolutely free to the users. Of course, I'm always happy to accept donations. While they're certainly not required, I always appreciate them.
What's new on the site?
I added a News & Announcements forum where I post all the latest feature updates. If you have a feature suggestion, please send me an email using the Contact Us form or the forums.
I found a problem on the site
Well, what can I say? This does happen from time to time. If you find a bug, please contact us. I do my best to test each feature before it goes live, but sometimes things get missed. If you let me know about it – I'll get it fixed.
How can I get in touch with you?
Just use the 'Contact Us' form or click on the 'Send e-mail' link in the forums and the message will go straight to me.
I hope you find this site useful and enjoyable. If you have any questions, concerns or comments, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
-Kevin Muller
