Small game drill to teach quick passing and shooting. |
Description
Simple small area 3 on 3, X's vs O's. Coach feeds puck into the play and players attempt to score. This should be a fast paced drill. If puck leaves the area of play coach immediately dumps new puck in to keep play moving.
Rules of the game:
Players cannot cross red line.
Center cannot leave the circle and wingers cannot skate into the circle.
Players waiting should be lined up around the drill (black lines in diagram) to help keep puck in play.
