Grady Indirect

Diagrams     

Description

1. Two Lines in diagonal corners of rink -INSIDE line (O's) with pucks - Extra goalies or Coach at blue lines as shown acting as mock point men.

2. O and X makes 3 passes up ice so that X on boards has puck last.

3. X's come off boards and SKATE at G with puck - chip indirect pass hard off boards that dies in NZ (dump pass area)

4. X's now cut INSIDE goalie and continue up ice to far net for rebound opportunity.

5. O's skate cut pattern as shown and SURROUND the indirect pass made from opposite X line and attack for shot ON THE END THEY STARTED DRILL.

6. X's drive net for rebound.

Notes: * Dump pass must die in NZ
* Work on surrounding puck for quick transition
* Goalies / Coaches DO NOT poke check - play "dummy Defense"

PROGRESSION - O's must open up / delay when strike net and pass to X's driving net.
