CC assistant Bazin takes head coaching job at Hamilton 08/12/08 After eight successful seasons as an assistant coach at Colorado College, Norm Bazin is moving on. Simon joins Seawolf hockey staff 08/08/08 Alaska Anchorage hockey coach Dave Shyiak announced Thursday the addition of former Seawolf Reggie Simon to his staff as an assistant coach. Simon comes to UAA after a short stint as coach and general manager of the St. Louis Bandits of the North American Hockey League. He has extensive coaching experience in the junior ranks, beginning in 2002-2003 with the United States Hockey League's Tri-City Storm of Kearney, Neb.

Mannino Signs with New York Islanders 07/07/08 Former University of Denver goaltender Peter Mannino (Farmington Hills, Mich.) has signed a one year two-way free agent contract with the National Hockey League's New York Islanders. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Mannino is expected to make his professional debut next season for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.
