Here’s a quick video with a unique approach to developing stick strength in hockey players.  The use of a ringette ring forces players to apply downward pressure on their stick while in traffic.  This element is essential in tight situations in front of the net and in the corners.

HockeyShare is excited to bring you hockey commentary by brilliant hockey mind Scott Elliot (aka “Scooter”).  Scott Elliot Born Noranda Quebec Canada, Has three uncles who played in the NHL Ray, Gordie and Pat Hannigan. Scott started skating at the age of two, he played JR hockey in Ontario Canada and spent some time playing in Europe after that. He has coached at all levels of minor hockey, JR, and University. Scott has been teaching and studying the game of hockey all his life and claims his Father taught him the most about the game of hockey, treasures never forgotten only to be passed on.
