This drill was created using HockeyShare.com's Online Drill Drawing & Practice Planning Platform.
Players 1 and 2 are defending. Players 3, 4 and 5 are offensive. The defensive players get puck possession and make a pass to the offensive players who then shoot on the net. Players 1 and 2 must make a purposeful pass while 3, 4 and 5 must read the player and be available for a pass.
Notes: Players can also be taught person-on-person defensive coverage when the puck is in the offensive zone. For example, O1 covers X3 and O2 covers X4 when the puck is in zone 1.
