Zone Entry and Escapes

Diagrams

Description

Side 1: Follow the pylons with a puck. Simulates wide zone entry and neutral zone lane changing.
Side 2: The player skates with the puck and stops at the blue line. They proceed to skate backwards with the puck as the coach skates towards them to provide some light pressure. The player escapes left or right and then skates around the coach and makes a pass to the coach in the neutral zone who proceeds to feed the puck into an open area the player skates into and picks up the puck and then proceeds to the net for a shot. Another coach can provide zone entry pressure.

Notes: A coach can provide pressure in the house in order to force options.
