Description

Location: Quarter Ice
Setup: Setup 6 cones as shown in the diagram. Players are lined up on the goal line, with a coach at the top of the drill with pucks. One net is centered on the goal line.
Description: This is a puck race focused on agility and fast turns. Players skate a figure-8 pattern, then loop around the outside, coming back down the middle. Whoever gets to the puck first will try to score, while the other player back checks.
Progression #1: Have players skate the middle section backwards (between the first and 2nd cones)
