Soft Chip

Diagrams

Description

Often the player skating the puck up the wall is angled to the wall by the opponent. Rather than dumping the puck in deep, or loosing it, we can execute a "soft chip" pass.

F2 would read the situation and use a burst of speed to get in behind X1 and call for the "chip"

After the chip, F1 can fill the middle lane.
