PP Breakout to 1-3-1 Setup

Diagrams

Description

PP Breakout:
D1 recovers puck and sets up behind our net.
F1 and F2 come back and regroup as a unit. They must time it so they come out together. They must regroup low below the goal line to start.
D1 steps out from behind net and starts up middle of the ice. He passes to F1 or F2 when pressured by X1.
F3 and D2 come flat across the blue-lines in support of the play.

Neutral Zone/Zone Entry/1-3-1 Setup:
D1 makes pass to F1(or F2)
F1 carries down along the wall into the zone.
Other players skate into positions shown.
F1 makes bank pass to F2, or passes back to D1. Either way, the PP unit should be in their 1-3-1 setup.

Notes: D1 must be patient and wait for F1/F2 to get back, then they go up the ice as a unit. Work the puck down along the wall to get into the zone. Can always make an early play to the net if opportunity exists.
