Players skate with a puck making passes on their forehand and backend to themselves. They should focus on correct puck placement so they can easily retrieve after skating around the danglers. The player then skates by coaches while protecting the puck (i.e. out of the reach of the coach's stick) and then shoots on the net. A screen can be placed in front of the goalie so that the goalie needs to "find the puck/player" and also so that shooters develop shooting through screen skills.
Notes: Coaches to apply pressure and poke the puck away if brutally obvious (i.e. the player doesn't protect at all.
