Neutral Zone 2-on-1 Attack (Defence Retrieval)

Diagrams

Description

On the whistle, the coach spots a puck below the goal line. D1 retrieves the puck while in motion making a pass to F1 who is skating across the ice on an arc. F1 receives the pass skates towards the boards and then makes a pass to F2. After making the pass they curl below the blue line, facing F2, who will make a return pass to F1. F2 then skates hard to get ahead of F1 for a return pass. While this is happening, D1 is skating up to close the gap before they execute a pivot to be ready for a 2-on-1. F1 and F2 then execute a zone entry and D1 defends.

Notes: Alternate sides to reduce the chances of collisions.
