Up and Out LAWSON GOALTENDING

Description

-Forward takes puck behind the net for a tight jam, tries to score
-if forward dose not score than he skates the puck out to the cone for a quick shot

Notes: Do the drill from both sides
Wait until goalie is ready before you start the next round

Tags: Goalie starts paddle down, Butterfly slide across to the oposite post to stop the jam., If there is a rebound, get to the middle of the net and then "Get up and out" (Arc through the crease), Get set at the top of the crease (Feet are static), , when moving accross the net keep eyes on the shooter behind the net, be calm and in control, , explode up off the post, when set at the top of the crease, be mentally engaged to make a grade 'A' save. "Get good meat on it"
