Description

All skaters go at the same time. F1/F3 do the same route and F2/F4 do the same.

F1/F3 skates out to hash marks with puck and makes pass to C1/C3 and then continues skating through neutral zone without puck. Once F1/F3 skates through the neutral zone they receive a pass from the opposite C (F1 gets puck from C3 and F3 gets puck from C1). Players then enter the zone and shoot on net.

F2/F4 skates out to hash marks with puck and makes pass to C2/C4. As player skates up boards C2/C4 passes puck back to F2/F4. Skaters continue with puck into defensive zones, crossing over and make a pass to opposite C (F2 passes to C4 and F4 passes to C2). Skaters then skate through neutral zone and once they enter offensive zone they receive a pass from their original C (C2 passes to F2 and C4 passes to F4).

Once zones are clear next four skaters take off.

This drill works on player awareness and timing along with many other points.
