Support-Pass-Transition-Attack Flow

Diagrams     

Description

Both ends together.(Diagram shows one side only)

BLACK
X1, F1, and X2 begin on whistle.
X1 shoots, collects puck in corner.
F1 supports in midlane, receives pass from X1.
F1 passes to stretching X2, who has timed his skate to receive pass in middle at speed; X2 shoots.
X3, F2, and X4 (GREY) are performing same.

BLUE
X2 assumes role of X1; F3 slash skates: F1 becomes stretch player.

Notes: Look at F1 to understand the rotation:
1. Midlane support.
2. Pass to stretch player.
3. Become stretch player (after transition).
4. Shoot.
5. Collect puck to initiate break out.
6. (GREEN option) Drive far end to be trailer.
