Net Front Battle Drill

Diagrams     

Description

1.) F1 passes puck to LD.
2.) F1 then fights for position in front of net to screen goalie or get a rebound.
3.) D in corner attack F1 in front on net and try to force him from area in front of net. Do not allow F1 to screen goalie or pick up a rebound.
4.) LD passes puck to RD and then RD passes back to LD.
5.) LD takes low hard shot on net.

Notes: - Can be played 1-on-1 or 2-on-2.
- Alternate sides so different defense are taking shot from point.
