Simple Breakout to Attack

Diagrams

Description

The coach dumps a puck and X1 races as D1 to pick up the puck on the boards (X4). X2 skates to the X3 position. A pass is made to X3 who carries the puck out of the blue line around the coach and group of players. At the same time, X4 skates outside the blue line then curls back to become an attacking forward. X3 takes a shot and X4 drives the net to get a rebound. The coach can be a passive obstacle and progress to light levels of pressure.

Notes: - X3 can pass to X4 as a progression
