Seam shot to 1-on-1

Diagrams

Description

The forward starts with a puck and skates around the top of the circle and takes a shot on the net. The decision to shoot should be made while rounding the circle and the player should shoot to score. After shooting the forward skates low under the far circle and curls facing the defensive zone. The defensive player skates with the puck timing the arrival of the forward just below the hash marks and makes a pass in front of the forward. The forward should be receiving the pass in motion. After the completed pass the forward skates outside the far pylon and the defensive player outside the near pylon for a one-on-one.

Notes: The defensive should maintain a close gap (i.e. one stick length) and guide the forward to the outside. Keep the house clean!
