- F1 passes to D1
- F1 follows his pass and F4 heads in the same direction
- D1 and D2 do touch passes until F1 and F4 clear around the back of D2
- D2 lays a pass out to either F1 or F4 and the two forwards head 2 on 1 down the ice vs. D1
- D3 fills in for D1 and F2 and F5 start the drill again with the first pass going to D2
