Goalie Needs to FIX HIMSELF....Both feet on the goal line, big body, shoulders square to the shooter and no holes (use the Carry Price dead arm)
Squirt/Atom

Goalie needs to be calm under the pressure, do not over think the situation and make a clean pass or area pass for his defensemen. Goalie gets back to the net quickly.
Peewee

-It is so importent that the goalie takes a look over his shoulder to find his line of direction before he begins to push. -Goalie needts to skate at Butterfly hight (Ready hight) -Good push and a quick hard stop. -During Part #2 Make sure goalie looks before rotating, and than be sure to get full roatation on the ice as he is loading. -do not rush this drill.
Squirt/Atom

Goalie must first make the save with the left pad than immediately track the puck with his eyes. when the pass gets sent out to F2 the goalies "EYES MUST BEAT THE PASS" in order to read the play... he might be able to get up and out with proper re-loading or he may have to butterfly slide to the middle of the net for the save if there is no time. When re-loading it is important to get full rotation on the ice and have the towe of the push leg pointed to F2
Mites/Novice

Track the puck with eyes "PASS OR REBOUND DOSE NOT BEAT THE EYES"...Look to see how much time you have to recover. Get a good rotation, hands stay with you on the rotation Get up with the outside leg. Push back on the angle toward the post.
Peewee

"PASS NEVER BEATS THE EYES" Goalie needs to Look before he moves, read the play and sense what type of shot is coming and how much time he has. if the pass is in F1's Feet than the goalie has time to get up and out to the top of the crease. If the pass is in F1's "Wheel house" than goalie needs to Butterfly push to the center of the net before he gets up and out!
Squirt/Atom

Goalie starts paddle down Butterfly slide across to the oposite post to stop the jam. If there is a rebound, get to the middle of the net and then "Get up and out" (Arc through the crease) Get set at the top of the crease (Feet are static) when moving accross the net keep eyes on the shooter behind the net, be calm and in control explode up off the post when set at the top of the crease, be mentally engaged to make a grade 'A' save. "Get good meat on it"
Squirt/Atom

Goalie needs to be flat on the goal line to start. As the forward skates behind the net the goalie must push off of the post but continue to look through the net on the strong side before turning his head.
Mites/Novice

Goalie needs to let F1 get ahead of him a little bit so he is able to predict if he decides to stop and go back the other way. Goalie should be in control of his movements and the play. keep eyes on the puck and shooter as much as possible.
