- One player places themselves in front of each net to screen original shots then move out to a rebound
position
- After shot, the shooter takes the screen position in front of net. Work on screening the release of shot.
This drill can be done for all age groups, from mites on up. If you do it with older players you can change it up by putting in forward to backwards transitions or throw in a defensemen after the pass is made. Have Fun!!!
Always move after pass whether it is a good pass or not.
Sometimes we only make backhand passes.
Sometimes we only catch passes with our feet.
Sometimes we pass early so the guy making the pass is passing before the guy gets to his station.
No standing around moving without the puck.
Good flat tape to passes - we stop the drill on a flip pass.
