Players line up and race to puck on coaches signal. The first player to touch puck trys to score. Other player is defender and must pass puck to coach in order to switch to offence on return pass. Previous offensive player is out of drill. (or can switch to defender)

Notes: Second defender can be removed after pass to coach to give goalies more work.
