Simple high paced net front drill

Set up as shown , on coaches whistle players with pucks dump behind net hard.

Forwards on goal line break to behind the net slamming body against the boards to keep the puck from getting past them. Forward that dumped the puck breaks for net front position.

Players battle in front of the net while player with the puck moves back and forth behind the net looking for the correct time to pass to the player in front.

D players have no stick and must be physical with the offensive player never looking at the puck or the player with the puck, just cover your man in front.

Drill goes until goal is scored of coach blows whistle.

F Player that was battling goes to position at the crease and becomes the player behind the net. D men switch and coach blows whistle and drill starts again

Notes: High pace, F don't just stand still

D don't look at puck or puck carrier , your only responsibility is the player in front of the net !!!!!!! NOT THE PUCK
