3 on 1 Eval Drill

Notes: DIAGRAM ONE
Shows how everyone lines up to start. X and O represent forwards, D represents Defenseman and C represents Coaches

DIAGRAM TWO
On whistle:
D1 starts skating backwards and pivots fowards around mid-circle and skates behind net to catch pass from Coach.
X1 and O1 are skating back into their end as well down low and turn around the net area. They need to time their speed so they can catch a break out pass from D1.

D2 is skating across the ice below the blue line in anticipation of 3 on 1.

DIAGRAM THREE
D1 hits X1 with breakout wall pass. X1 and O1 skate with D1 trailing for a 3 on 1 versus D2.
They head down the ice trying to score. Once saved or scored or puck control is lost, they return up the boards to their lines with the coach keeping them out of the way of the next set.
