Location: Quarter ice
Setup: Setup two lines of players at the blue line. X's will be offensive players, O's will be defensive (backcheck). A coach will be there managing the lines with pucks. Net at the goal line. Rotate players for forwards and defense.

Description: X's start with a puck and are trying to score. O's start on one knee and act as a back checker. On the coaches go, both players start, and its a race to the net. Give players enough time to battle for any rebounds. This drill is designed to have players carrying a puck forward with back pressure. Encourage players to use open-ice carry.
