Players start at the hash marks and on the whistle race to the blue line and then for the puck that the coach slides into the faceoff circle. Battle for the loose puck, and the player that comes away with it gets to shoot, while the other player is trying to defend.

Notes: Make sure they stop fully at the blue line. Focus on body position and taking out the opponent's hands.
