When 1 reaches the cones, if he's a right-handed shot, he steps forward moving laterally and shoots - if he's a left-handed shot, he stays backwards controlling the puck and shoots. After the shot, he proceeds to the corner to pick up a new puck, skates backwards to the blue line with the puck, moves laterally and shoots.
