Position group of 4 players as shown around a face off dot. The attacking forwards at the hash marks and the defending D at the top of the circle and backchecking player (F or D) at the bottom of the circle.

On the whistle attacking forwards try to execute a 2 on 1 while the backchecking player tries to break up the 2 on 1 or turn it into a 2 on 2.

Teach communication between defender and backchecker as to who will take the puck carrier.

Play out of both ends of the ice and until a goal is scored or the goalie covers it up.
