D1 starts by grabbing a puck in the corner. C, RW, LW skate their respective basic breakout patterns (focus on detail throughout the movement). D1 passes to RW to C to LW. LD and RD jump out and play the rush 3v2.

After the rush completes, coach blows the whistle and LD who defended the rush grabs a puck and a new set of forwards come in through their breakout pattern.

Notes: C drive is recommended with RW being a high trailer.
