X1 starts with the puck and skates around the first cone and makes a pass to X2. The players cross the ice and skate around the opposite side cones and X2 returns a pass to X1.The players continue this pattern though the last cone. The player with the puck at the end skates down the outside of the cones and passes to the other player in the slot who skated down the middle without the puck.
