Players form two lines in N zone .
Drill starts simultaneously from both ends with shot on goal from outside .
X player skates to boards and hash marks as shooter rims puck from behind net . X stops , controls puck .
O player times for outlet pass ( flat 5' support ) and takes puck down ice for shot and and rim to start next repetition
Players rotate from X line to O line

Notes: Pick puck off boards , back against boards , front foot (facing puck) heel to boards , other off for stability and shield from pinching D. Must not let puck pass by

Need to make play in ' safe zone' low at hash marks

Outlet to be made with five foot support , with proper spacing from d on blue line .

Vary the type rims , direct pass , high or low .
