- d4 starts with the puck, dumps it up the middle to either d1 or d2. Whoever gets puck goes d to d.
- After x2 passes, he/she crosses with x3 who is moving up ice. x1 gets to the near board.
- d2 looks to see if either x1 or x3 are open. The coach takes away one option, d2 hits the other option
- x1, x2 and x3 head up ice 3v0. After a shot, the coach hits them with a pass and they move 3v2 back up ice against the defenders
