Gauntlet
Description
No sticks for this drill.
Player 1 skates (under control) towards player 2 and delivers a shoulder to shoulder check.
Player 1 regroups and skates towards player 3 and delivers a shoulder to shoulder check.
Player 1 continues through each player in the gauntlet.
Notes: Keep players close, no more than 5 or 6 feet between them.
Not a race, always regroup before going to next player.
Both the checker and the checkee need to stay low, keep head up and wide/balanced stance.
Only 1 player going through the gauntlet at a time.
This drill is to let players get used to body contact, not to knock each other over.
