Line everyone up as shown.

Coach not pictured blows his whistle to start drill, players inside circles try to break out while players on outside of circle try to prevent players from getting out. (10 to 30 seconds)

On coaches next whistle coach at center ice with pucks chooses where he wants to dump puck and does so. Players inside circle MUST touch face off dot inside their circle then find the puck and race to it playing 1 on 1.

First player there takes procession of puck and becomes offense and second player takes defense. Defensive player must keep offensive player to the outside between himself and boards, defensive player does not try to take puck away he only plays the body of the player with the puck.

Offensive player picks one side or the other to come out around circle and take a shot, again defensive player ONLY plays the body.

After shot players return to circles and new players take the inside of the circle and drill starts over again.
