Description

Basic Drill: X1 begins with puck skates down the outside of the circle, X2 skates up the near wall. X1 leaves a drop pass to X2. X2 immediately passes to C. X2 continues around the top of the circle and attacks the net. X1 continues around the bottom of the circle and attacks the net, getting a pass back from C.

Progression 1: X1 begins with puck and skates down the outside of the circle, X2 skates up the near wall. X1 leaves a drop pass to X2. X2 immediately passes to C. X1 stops at the bottom of the circle, X2 stops at the top of the circle. C passes back to X1. X1 cuts back up the circle, X2 drives down the wall. X1 leaves a drop pass for X2. X1 and X2 attack the net.

Progression 2: X1 begins with puck and skates down the outside of the circle, X2 skates up the near wall. X1 leaves a drop pass to X2. X2 immediately passes to X3. X1 stops at the bottom of the circle, X2 stops at the top of the circle. X3 passes back to X1. X1 cuts back up the circle, X2 drives down the wall. X1 leaves a drop pass for X2. X1 fills the high slot. X3 drives to the net. X2 and X3 attack with X1 in high slot support position.

Progression 3: X1 begins with puck and skates down the outside of the circle, X2 skates up the near wall. X1 leaves a drop pass to X2. X2 immediately passes to X3 and stops in the high slot (replacing X3). X1 stops at the bottom of the circle. X3 passes back to X1. X1 cuts up the circle, X3 cuts down the wall. X1 drops for X3. X2 drives to the net, X1 goes to high slot support. X3 drives the goal line and attacks the net with X2.
