Just as in stickhandling 101, players will skate up to the first cone, transition to backwards to the next cone, transition again to forward, and continue til the last cone of that sequence. Then swerving and stickhandling through the cones down to the goal line where they will skate across the slot to take a shot, making the goalie move across the crease.
