Drill designed to work on footwork, shooting and screening the goalie.

Set up as shown, on coaches whistle X1 takes off to the pile of pucks on his side of the ice.
Once retrieving a puck he must skate backwards to the blue line, then walk the puck sideways down the blue line and once passing the line where he started taking a shot on net.

X1 then takes off full speed to the pile of pucks on the opposite side of the ice and repeats the same drill from that side.

O1 takes off once X1 has reached the blue line on O1's side of the ice, do not jump the gum because you will throw off the timing of the drill.

While the players with pucks are doing their part of the drill a F and D will be working for position in front of the net and switch after facing 4 shoots.

Goalie must track puck because at anytime the coach may instruct the puck carrier to shoot trying to catch the goalie off guard.
