Hustle timing drill.

Set up as shown, on the coaches whistle skaters start skating and everyone must skate hard while keeping an eye on all the other players.

Single skater goes behind the net and outside the circle and heads towards the pile of pucks.
Other skaters go outside first tire and first skater goes through second pair of tires while second skater goes to the far outside tire.

Single skater picks up a puck from the pile and crosses over the center ice line and as hard as he can dumps the puck so it will wrap around behind the net.

The skater that went between the tires must read the puck dump and attack to spot where he thinks he can make a play on the puck behind the goal line, second skater busts his butt to get to the front of the net and set up for a shot.

After play is made and shot is taken every player must bust his butt full speed to get back to the lines while the next group will be starting on the coaches whistle again.
