Slots and Corners

Drill Diagram

Description

- Black X starts behind the net and Red O in the slot.
- X takes a puck out from behind the net and drives to the corner making evasive maneuvers around the PEP's (tight turn, Crosby Down Low).
- Makes first pass to Red O in the slot for quick shot.
- Black X takes a puck from behind the net and attacks the opposite corner, making the same maneuvers as previous corner.
- Red O finds a open lane for a 2nd pass from Black X
- Black X takes Red O spot in the slot, Red O goes into lineup.
- After Black X takes the second puck from behind the net and make 2nd pass to Red O in the slot, the Red O on the boards jumps in and continues the exercise.

Notes: - Work the PEP's in the corner by puck placement and evasive moves, a large PEP can be used in place of the small PEP in the corner to enhance the "Crosby Down Low"
- Ensure the goalie follows the players movement behind the net.
