F1 skates into the zone and makes a quick turn back up ice and makes a pass to F2. D1 skates backwards and then forward shadowing/ playing defense against F1. After F1 passes to F2, F2 proceeds into the zone and tries to get by D1 and get a shot on net.D1 then is playing defense against F2 all the way to the net.
