# Drawing Lines

The Diagrammer v6.0.326 adds a line sidebar next to the canvas on desktop that puts every line type in one column, so you can pick a style and start drawing with a single click. Once a style is armed, you can place points and press Enter to finish, switch styles without opening menus, or use number keys 1 through 9 to change styles without touching the mouse. A Line/Free toggle lets you switch between point-to-point and hand-drawn freehand paths. Selected lines can be restyled with the toolbar pickers, which make drilling faster with fewer clicks.
