Lineup sheets used to live under Teams. They now have their own Lineups section with a layout builder, templates and live roster links. Your older team lineups are still there, and you can bring any of them across in one click.
Step 1 — Find your old lineups
Go to Teams, open your team and click Lineups. You'll see a Lineups have moved banner and your older lineups below it.
Step 2 — Import a lineup
Click Import into Lineups next to a lineup. HockeyShare copies it into the new Lineups section and opens it in the editor.
After importing, the button changes to Open imported. Clicking it takes you to the copy.
What carries over
- The layout, as a Classic Game Sheet: forward lines, defense pairs and goalies in the same order.
- Your section colours, as the sheet theme.
- Players still on the team, linked so they stay up to date.
- Players no longer on the team, as write-ins with their typed details.
- Staff, not dressed, officials, footer text, the game, and the lineup image.
What stays the same
- Your original lineup stays under Teams. Importing never changes or deletes it.
- Old print and share links keep working.
- Older lineups can't be edited under Teams any more. Import them to keep editing.
Good to Know
- The team owner, team managers and the coach who created the lineup can import it.
- An imported lineup counts toward the Free plan's 2-lineup limit.
- Delete the imported copy and the button goes back to Import into Lineups.
Tips
- Import only the lineups you still use. The rest stay under Teams for printing.
- After importing, turn on Show headshots or switch the theme. There's a lot more you can do with the new builder.
