Printing, PDF & Sharing a Lineup

Printing, PDF & Sharing a Lineup

Print your lineup for the bench and the scorekeeper, save a PDF, or send a link that anyone can open.

Print

Click Print in the editor, or Print from the lineup's menu on the Lineups page. A print view opens; click Print again to open your browser's print window. Printing is free on every plan.

PDF (Premium)

Click PDF to download a PDF of the lineup. PDF export is a Premium feature; on the Free plan the button shows a crown and opens the upgrade page.

On the Free plan you can still get a PDF from your browser: click Print, then choose Save as PDF as the printer.

Share a link

  1. Click Share in the editor (or Share from the lineup's menu).
  2. Turn on Anyone with the link can view and print this lineup.
  3. Click Copy and send the link to your players, parents, opponents or the press box.

What viewers see

Viewers see a read-only copy of the sheet with a Print button. They don't need a HockeyShare account. If your account is Premium, they also get a PDF button.

The shared page always shows the latest version, so last-minute changes reach everyone with the link.

Turning a link off

Turn the switch off and the link stops working right away. Turn it back on and the same link works again. Links don't expire on their own.

Tips

  • Sharing doesn't send anything. Paste the link into your team chat or email yourself.
  • If PDF export ever shows "PDF export is temporarily unavailable", click Print instead and choose Save as PDF.
  • Deleting a lineup also turns off its link.
