Saved Rosters

Saved Rosters

A saved roster is a list of players and staff that lives in Lineups, outside any team. It's useful for camps, tournaments, showcase teams or any group you don't manage under Teams. Link a lineup to it and the player cards fill in just like a team.

Step 1 — Create a roster

Go to Lineups → Saved rosters and click New roster.

  • Name – for example "Spring Showcase 2027".
  • Season label – shown before stat lines, for example "2026-27".
  • Start from a team's roster – optional. Copies the players and staff of one of your teams.

Click Create.

Step 2 — Add players

On the roster page, add players three ways:

  • Add player – one at a time with every detail.
  • Paste a list – one player per line, for example 44 Will Horcoff LW. The number and position are optional.
  • Import from team – copies a team's players and staff, with their headshots.

Player details

The player window (Add player, or Edit on a row) has First name, Last name, Number, Position, Captain (C/A), Shoots / catches, Height, Weight, Birthdate, Status, Hometown, Commitment / previous team and Notes.

After you save a player, you can upload a Headshot and a Commitment logo (up to 5 MB each).

Staff and roster logo

  • Click Add staff for coaches and trainers (name, title and a headshot).
  • Click the logo square at the top to upload a roster logo. The game header can show it.

Reorder, rename and delete

  • Drag rows in the player table to change the order.
  • Click Rename to change the name or season label.
  • Delete roster is in the roster details window. Lineups linked to it keep the details already on them but are no longer linked.

Good to Know

  • A roster imported from a team is a copy. Later changes in Teams don't carry over. To keep a lineup in sync with a team, link the lineup to the team directly.
  • A saved roster holds up to 60 players and 20 staff.
  • Saved rosters don't count toward the Free plan's 2-lineup limit.

Tips

  • Paste straight from a spreadsheet or email. Copy the number, name and position columns and paste them into Paste a list.
  • Make one roster per event so old lineups keep their players.
  • To start a lineup from this roster, click New lineup and choose the roster under Pull players from.
