The Athlete Profile & AI Summaries

Every athlete in Perform has a profile page with their results, progress, notes and contact details. To open it, go to Perform and click an athlete's name.

The Header

The top of the profile shows the athlete's photo, birth year and classifications, plus these buttons:

  • Add Result – record a new test result for this athlete.
  • Edit Data – edit or delete several results at once (editors and above).
  • Share – create a link that parents and players can open without an account (Premium).
  • Print – open a print-friendly dashboard.
  • PDF – download the dashboard as a PDF (Premium).
  • Edit – change the name, birth year, headshot, classifications and email addresses.
  • Archive – hide the athlete from the Active list without deleting anything. An archived athlete shows a Restore button instead.

Performance Reportcard

The reportcard gives Progress at a glance for every metric the athlete has been tested on. Each card shows the latest value and date, plus two comparisons:

  • Overall – first test to latest test.
  • Recent – the previous test to the latest test.

Green means better and red means worse, based on whether the metric is set to Higher is Better or Lower is Better. Neutral metrics such as height stay grey. A metric with only one test shows Single measurement.

Performance Metrics

Below the reportcard, results are grouped into tabs by category, such as Speed, Strength and On-Ice. Each metric has:

  • a chart of every test over time
  • the Test History, showing the 5 most recent tests and the change from the test before

Click Add on a metric to record another result for it.

Two more tabs appear when there's data for them:

  • Comparison – the athlete's latest results next to the average for each of their classifications, with the difference shown as a percentage.
  • Leaderboards – where the athlete ranks on any saved leaderboard that matches their classifications.

Notes

Editors and above can click Add Note in the Notes card. Choose a Note Type:

  • Public – visible to all members and on shared links.
  • Private – only visible to editors and above.

Tick Pin this note to keep it at the top of the list. To add notes for many athletes at once, go to Athletes → Athlete Notes.

Email Addresses and Import History

  • Email Addresses – the addresses that receive emailed reports for this athlete. Editors and above can click Add Email.
  • Import History – shows where the athlete came from if they were imported, such as a team roster or 10k Pucks, with the date.

AI Summary

The AI Summary card writes a plain-language summary of the athlete's testing progress. AI summaries are a Premium feature.

  1. Pick a Start Date and End Date.
  2. Click Generate AI Summary.
  3. Wait a minute or two. The card shows Generating your AI summary while it works.

The athlete needs at least one result in the date range. If there are none, nothing is generated and nothing counts toward your limit. The newest finished summary also appears on the athlete's shared page.

AI Org Summary

Owners and admins can summarize the whole organization from Reports → AI Org Summary. That link opens the AI section of the organization's settings.

  1. Pick a date range and click Generate AI Summary.
  2. Optional: tick Also generate individual reports for each athlete. This writes a summary for up to 20 active athletes in the same run, in last-name order, and doesn't use any extra summaries from your limit. Athletes with no results in the range are skipped.

The org summary has three sections: Overview, Standouts and Watch Areas. It's never shown on athlete pages or share links.

Good to Know

  • You can generate 3 AI summaries per month, counting athlete and org summaries together. The count resets on the 1st, and the card shows how many you've used, such as "1 of 3 used this month".
  • Private notes never appear on share links. Only public notes do.
  • Archiving keeps every result. To remove data for good, see Adding & Importing Athletes.

Tips

  • Pin a public note with the athlete's current focus so parents see it first on the shared page.
  • Generate a summary after each testing day, using a date range that covers the last two sessions, so it describes the change.
  • Use the Comparison tab before player meetings to show where an athlete stands against their group.
