# Organizing Playbooks: Folders, Tags, Search & Bulk Actions

After a few seasons you may have a lot of playbooks. Folders, tags, search and bulk actions help you find the right one quickly and update many at once.

## Searching and filtering

The search box on **My Playbooks** looks through titles, descriptions and the text inside your playbooks. Under it, narrow the list with:

- **All Teams** – show playbooks attached to one team.
- **All Folders** – show one folder.
- **All Visibility** – show only **Public** or **Private** playbooks.

## Folders

Playbooks use the same folders as your Vault. To add a playbook to a folder, open it in the builder, click **Playbook Settings** and click **Manage Folders** under **Folder Organization**. Check the folders you want and click **Add to Folder(s)**. Click **New folder** to create one on the spot. To rename or delete folders, go to your Vault.

## Tags

In **Playbook Settings**, use **Tags** to label a playbook, e.g. "Special Teams" or "U14". Pick an existing tag or type a new one and press **Enter**. Tags show on each playbook in **My Playbooks**. Only the playbook's owner can change its tags.

## Bulk actions

Check the box next to each playbook you want. You can select up to 50 at a time. A bar appears with three menus:

- **Organize** – **Add to Folders**, **Remove from Folders**, **Make Copies**, **Delete Playbooks**.
- **Sharing** – **Make Public**, **Make Private**, **Set Expiration Date**, **Clear Expiration**, **Copy Share Links**, **Team Share**, **Team Un-Share**.
- **Team** – **Attach to Team**, **Detach from Team**.

Click **Clear Selection** to start over.

## Copying a playbook

Open the **⋯** menu on a playbook and choose **Make a Copy**. The copy is called "Copy of …", keeps the content and your tags, and starts private and unattached to any team. Copies count toward your playbook limit.

## Good to Know

- Deleted playbooks go to the **Trash** on **My Playbooks** for 30 days. You can restore them from there.
- Playbooks other coaches share with you appear under **Shared with me** at the top of **My Playbooks**.

## Tips

- Use one folder per season or age group, and tags for the type of system (breakout, forecheck, power play).
- At the end of a season, select that season's playbooks and use **Set Expiration Date** or **Make Private** in one step.
- Copy last season's playbook before changing it, so you keep the original.
