# Presenting a Playbook

Presentation mode shows your playbook one section at a time, full screen, like a slideshow. Use it in a team meeting, in the locker room, or on a TV before practice.

## Step 1 — Open the presentation settings

Open the playbook and click **Present**.

- **Time per slide (seconds)** – how long text and images stay on screen before moving on, from 3 to 60 seconds. The default is 10.
- **Video repeat count** – how many times a video plays before moving on, from 1 to 10.
- **Auto-advance slides** – move to the next slide automatically when the time is up. Turn this off to move through the slides yourself.

Click **Start Presentation**. It opens in a new window.

## Step 2 — Present

Each section becomes its own slide. Drills show all of their diagrams, animations and videos in turn.

Use the buttons at the bottom of the screen, or your keyboard:

- **Space** – play or pause.
- **Left arrow** and **Right arrow** – previous or next slide.
- **F** – full screen.
- **S** – open the settings.

Close the presentation window when you're done.

## Good to Know

- **File** and **Practice Plan** blocks are left out of the presentation.
- **Present** is on the playbook's page in HockeyShare, so you, your collaborators and players on an attached team can use it. The public share page doesn't have a **Present** button.
- If your browser blocks the new window, allow pop-ups for HockeyShare and click **Start Presentation** again.

## Tips

- Turn off **Auto-advance slides** when you want to talk through each system at your own pace. You can also press **Space** to pause at any time.
- Plug a laptop into a TV and press **F** for full screen before your team arrives.
- Keep each section short. One idea per slide reads better from across a room.
