Association Plans: Sharing Across Your Organization

Association Plans: Sharing Across Your Organization

If your club or association uses HockeyShare, coaches can share practice plans with every member. Directors can build a curriculum once, and every coach can use it.

Share a Plan with Your Association

Open your plan, click Edit and go to the Sharing tab. Under Share with Associations, check your association.

  • Members can always view, copy, print, email and share the plan.
  • Check Allow association members to edit this plan to let them change it directly. Only you can delete it.

Click Save Sharing Settings.

To share many plans at once, select them in My Plans and choose Share → Share with Association. Use Unshare from Association to stop sharing.

You can also share every new plan with your association automatically from Plans → Plan Defaults.

Find Plans Shared with Your Association

Go to Plans → Association Plans. You'll see every plan shared with associations you belong to.

  • Search plans – find a plan by keyword.
  • Shared by – show plans from one coach.
  • Editable only – show only plans you can edit.
  • Show my plans – include plans you shared yourself.

Use an Association Plan

Open a plan's menu (the sliders icon) to:

  • View it, or Edit it if the owner allowed editing.
  • Make a Copy – add your own copy to My Plans that you can change without affecting the original.
  • Add to Folder – keep it with your other plans.

Tips

  • Directors: share your core plans with editing turned off, so coaches copy them instead of changing the originals.
  • Coaches: make a copy before changing a shared plan, so you have your own version.
  • Use clear titles like "U12 Week 3 – Edges & Passing" so coaches can find plans by search.
