# Lines, Pairs & Goalies in Your Plan

Add your lines, D pairs, goalies and upcoming games to a plan so players know where they are before they hit the ice. They print at the top of your plan.

## Open Lines & Games

Open your plan and click **Edit**, then go to the **Lines & Games** tab. When you create a new plan, it's the last tab before the Plan Builder.

## Forwards & Defense

Fill in up to 6 forward lines and 6 defense pairs. For each one, enter:

- **Color** – the jersey or pinnie color for that line (White, Red, Black, etc.).
- **Jersey numbers** – the players on that line, separated by commas.

Leave a row blank if you don't need it.

## Goalies & Injured Players

Under **Special Players**:

- **Goalies** – up to 3 goalie numbers.
- **Injured/Out** – up to 2 players who are out for this practice.

## Upcoming Games

Add up to 6 upcoming games with a date and opponent or tournament name (for example "vs Northside Wolves" or "@ Lakeshore Hawks").

Click **Save Lines & Games** when you're done.

## How It Prints

Your lines, goalies, injured players and upcoming games show at the top of the printed plan and PDF.

These templates show lines and games: **Default Template**, **Default Template (Light)**, and **Templates #1, #2, #3, #4, #6 and #9**. The other templates leave them off. See [Printing & PDFs: Choosing a Template](/support/kb/practice-planner/printing-and-pdf-templates).

## Tips

- Set your usual lines once in **Plans → Plan Defaults** under **Lines & jersey colors**. Every new plan starts with them filled in.
- Changing lines for one practice? Edit them on that plan only. Your defaults stay the same.
- Use colors that match your practice jerseys or pinnies so players can find their group fast.
