# Plans FAQ & Troubleshooting

Quick answers to the most common practice plan questions.

## Printing & PDFs

**My printed plan doesn't look right.**Try a different template on the **Plan Details** step. Some templates show drill descriptions and lines, and some don't. To make text bigger or smaller, go to **Plans → Plan Defaults → Plan text size**. See [Printing & PDFs: Choosing a Template](/support/kb/practice-planner/printing-and-pdf-templates).

**My drill descriptions aren't printing.**Check **Include descriptions** in the Plan Builder. Templates #5, #6, #9 and #10 never show descriptions. They only show drill notes.

**I don't see a PDF button.**PDF export is a Premium feature. You can always use **Print** and choose "Save as PDF" in your browser's print window.

**I clicked PDF but nothing downloaded.**Plans with more than 12 drill diagrams are built in the background. We'll email you the PDF when it's ready.

## Sharing

**My share link says "Not Found".**The plan's share links are turned off or expired. Open the plan, click **Edit**, go to **Sharing** and turn on **Enable public share links**. Check the expiration date too. The link stays the same, so anyone you already sent it to can use it again.

**The Share button on my plan is grayed out.**Share links are off for that plan. Turn them on from the **Sharing** tab.

**Why are share links off on my new plans?**Your **Plan Defaults** have **Enable public share links by default** turned off. Turn it on in **Plans → Plan Defaults → Sharing**.

**A plan I emailed didn't arrive.**Ask the person to check their spam or junk folder. You can also copy the share link and text it to them. See [Email Delivery Troubleshooting](/support/kb/drill-diagrammer/email-delivery-troubleshooting).

**A coach shared a plan with me but I can't find it.**

- Sent with **Send to User**: check **Plans → Plan Inbox**.
- Invited as a collaborator: look in **My Plans** for the invitation and click **Accept**. Use the **Only Collab** filter.
- Shared with your association: check **Plans → Association Plans**.

## Editing

**I can see a plan but can't edit it.**You have **View Only** access, or it's an association plan without editing turned on. Click **Make a Copy** to get your own version you can edit.

**Another coach changed my plan.**Collaborators with **Edit Access**, and association members when editing is allowed, can change your plan. Change their access on the plan's **Collaboration** or **Sharing** tab.

**My clip says "No longer available".**The clip was deleted from the Clips library, or you no longer have access to it. Remove it from the plan or add a different clip.

## Finding & Recovering Plans

**I deleted a plan by mistake.**Go to **My Plans → Trash** and click restore. Plans stay in Trash for 7 days. See [Recovering Deleted Plans](/support/kb/practice-planner/recovering-deleted-plans).

**A plan disappeared from My Plans.**It may be archived. Click **Archived** at the top of My Plans. Also check that your filters (date, folder, tag or the collaborator filter) aren't hiding it. Clear them and look again.

**I see a "Migrate My Folders" message.**You have folders from the old practice planner. Click **Migrate My Folders** to move them into the new folder system. Your plans aren't changed.

## AI Assistant & Reports

**I'm out of AI generations.**You get 10 AI Practice Assistant generations per month. The count resets on the 1st. Failed generations don't count.

**My Coaching Report summary is still "Generating insights".**The season summary usually appears within a few minutes. Refresh the page. If it still hasn't appeared after an hour, contact support.

## Still Stuck?

Contact us from **Help Center → Contact Support** and include the plan's title and what you were trying to do.
